William Goodrich

Creative Technologist
Let's Connect

I'm currently spreading the word about my new business, Dispersion. We are enthusiastically pursuing opportunities to create custom LED integrated systems for artists, architects, designers, and product developers. I also offer consulting services for proof-of-concept product prototypes, drawing on a close-knit cadre of experienced engineers and designers. Please send me an email to setup a time to talk.

Who is William Goodrich?

I am an accomplished engineer and manager with experience across several disciplines. I love getting my hands dirty with computer hardware, embedded systems, and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms and drawing data from those devices in unique and creative ways. With sensor-driven data I've given life to interactive public art and uncovered patterns in consumer behavior. I'm constantly thinking about ways in which we can instrument our world to capture data leading to valuable, actionable insights.
Apart from hands-on work with widgets and gadgets, I am an espouser of technology to widely disparate groups. My background lends itself towards explaining difficult concepts in understandable ways to managers, customers, and the general public. All in all, I want to be involved in creating. I want those creations to benefit people in important ways. And, I want to help people understand the ways in which they can benefit from those creations.
Beyond my love of technology, I have also had the good fortune to foster one of the most dynamic communities of creatives and professionals at The Studio (Boulder), shared workspace and event venue, here in Boulder, Colorado.
